My goodness, between this Mix Tape Carnival and my Facebook page, I have surely relived the 1980's this past month. I have also reconnected with a lot of old friends from that era and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. The reconnecting part is great, the admitting how old we all are now isn't!
So before I start down that road of dwelling on the big 4-0 coming next year....I'll get my groove on and remember some of the songs that definitely brought a smile to this face!!

I love coming here, but these last Mondays have been awesome! I love the songs you choose. The first one wasn't even on my radar, then I enjoyed hearing it again, and Funkytown, I couldn't stop my shoulder shake and shimmies. I felt like dancing the whole time...What are you going to pick for your all time favorite song? hmmmm, can't wait to see.

Facebook has really been a trip down memory lane for me as this will be my 20th reunion. I have found some almost-forgotten friends. Finding these friends has also brought to mind some favorite songs- which I have had to add to my iPod.
