It's a small (bloggy) world...

after all!

Can I just say how incredibly AWESOME it is to have such a wonderful opportunity to meet sweet blog friends I have come to know along the way. Yesterday was so surreal. To see these 2 girls' faces in photos and to read their stories and adventures online is such a treat. But to feel their hug, hear their voice and laughter is the cherry on top!

I can't remember how I first "met" Sara but I've enjoyed her blog and 365's over the past year or so. She is every bit of F-U-N, easy to talk to, and kind person in real life that I thought she'd be. She was in town with her daughter (who I also go to meet!) to look at the University of Houston and if I had my way she'd be going there just cuz I'm selfish and would love to hang out with Sara again and again.

H-Mama...she's just one of those girls that you sense a spark of kinship with and once I hugged her I knew she is just that. I haven't "known" her that long but oh how I hope to more in the future. She actually lives about an hour south of me and with that short of a distance there's no stopping me now! She is so relaxed, loving, fun to be with and thoughtful (she came bearing gifts!☺). I really look forward to getting to know her more. There's a spot somewhere on the beach at Galveston that's calling our names and I can picture it already! Our kids off playing and our conversation rich!

So, my heart's pretty full. After spending time enjoying these girlies, it has rejuvinated my week, my blogging oomph and my heart. Thank you God for blessing me in such a unique and special way!

And guess what else I can check off on my 40 by 40 list now?!!!

what FUN it was to meet you in person!!! Alyssa asked me when we left "you mean you really have never met them before?". It was so natural and easy and 2 hours went WAY too fast!!!

Maybe I will be coming back next year to move my girl in.....cross our fingers! :)

Awww... Thank you for such kind words, Linda. It was such a treat having the opportunity to meet you, in. person. You are every bit as beautiful, inside and out, as I thought you would be from reading your blog. And Yes! I second that spot on the beach! :)
