I've missed ya.
I'm back home in Texas tonight and my heart and mind feel like they could burst. It has been a hard week. A very, very hard week. But there were also moments that were beautiful...and peaceful... and unforgettable! It seems like I've experienced every emotion possible in the past 7 days.
And I'm tired.
I flew to Oregon last Sunday afternoon to see my dad. I was able to make it in time to talk to him briefly and tell him I loved him before he slipped into a coma that evening. I will always be grateful for God's timing in that!
My Papa went to be with the Lord on Wednesday night. He was an incredible man and I miss him already. I'm so thankful for your prayers. It has meant so much to me and I can honestly say I have felt covered, so thank you for standing in the gap!
Much love,
Linda

I'm glad you are back home, and even more glad that you were able to have that last bit of time with your Dad. God's timing is always perfect!
Praying for you and your family as you go on with your life, as your Dad would want you to, but miss that important piece of your family.
I am so grateful that you made it in time to spend those last moments with him. I know that will be time you will always treasure. I know that you will miss him more than words can express but I rejoice that you are assured he is with his savior now and his suffering is over! I continue to lift you up in prayer, my friend!
oh Linda....I am so glad that you were able to make it in time to talk to your dad! praise god!!
Praying for you as you adjust to being home.
Hey sweet girl....welcome home. So glad the Lord's timing included you being able to talk to your dad one more time on this earth. So sorry for the pain you are feeling now. I'll say a prayer for you tonight.
i'm grateful for God's timing, and grateful you are home...i'm continuing prayers for you.
So sorry for your loss. I'm also glad you got to have some time with him and am praying for you and your family during this difficult time.
I'm so glad you can check that "tell my dad one more time I love him" on your list below". I can only imagine the range of emotions you must have went through. I will keep praying for your grieving and the transition to "normalcy" (when your life feels like anything but) as you are now home.
That's a memory that you will always hold dear to your heart. I've been there, my friend.
Continuing to keep you in my thoughts...

What a blessing that you had those moments with your dad! Peace to you as you grieve his passing. Hugs friend!
peace and blessings!
So glad you were able to talk yet again with your Dad. What a comfort to know you will see him again. Maybe sitting right along side of his Lord and Savior, some day. When you feel lonely and sad try to feel God's arms around you giving you comfort and strength. You will have so many great stories to share with your boys as they ask questions about their Grandpa. Take your time to mourn his loss - savor the memories.
God bless. My prayers are with you.
I am so sorry for your loss!
