It's been awhile since I cleaned out my brain's rambling thoughts! Here's the latest:
♦ I saw this at my local grocery store. They had this type of shopping carts for my kids when they were little, but just like everything else that "improves" with time....this shopping cart actually has a TV in it. Yep, you plop in your money to the machine, unhook the cart and once again your kids can be mesmerized while you get some work done! Crazy I tell ya. But then again, no screaming kids is a good thing.

♦ One of my job titles is *dog walker* and I never walk my own dogs. How's that for guilt? I have 3 pet sitting jobs lined up over Thanksgiving. One family has 4 cats....can you say gas mask for the litter box? Another has 2 cats. And the pinnacle is the single lady who has 5 dogs; 4 small yippy ones and a bull dog that is old and sick and might not make it through the holidays. Oh I pray this poor fella survives while she's gone. That'll ruin both our Thanksgivings....not to mention the poor dog's!
♦ My son kicks my behind at Stratego. And the worst part is that I am not "trying to let him win" anymore!
♦ There is SOMETHING in my attic and it is making noise. I wish I could send my beagle dog, Dale up there. He would be in complete heaven! But Hubster said no. Guess we'll have to go with the cruel death approach and buy some rat poison.
♦ I do not like yams or pumpkin pie but I'm giving in and making it for thanksgiving so my boys can see if they do!
♦ Every thanksgiving it seems like the conversation comes up...."what is that danglie thing on the turkey's nose?". This year I now know the answer thanks to Mari! (*Happy sigh*)
♦ God is pretty awesome that He loves us enough to create things with COLOR! Blue skies, yellow sunshine, green grass....red and brown leaves! We could see black/white like doggies do!
♦ I convinced my Hubster to buy a "gingerbread house" to put together with the boys on Thanksgiving. We've done it years past but I guess he thinks they are getting "older". I was however greeted by cheers when we walked in the door with it. 2 points for mommy. But, papa will probably be the one doing all the work. (No wonder he shunned the idea!)
♦ I cut my son's hair again this past weekend. I tried to get fancy and almost scarred the poor boy for life. Thank goodness for scissors to clean up the damage of clippers. AND for forgiving boys who can get away with having short, short hair!
♦ My inlaws are buying the boys a Wii for Christmas. We are slow with technology around here. So, if you have a Wii, what's your favorite game?
That's it, brain release ending...it's time to revert it back to laundry, ironing and mopping. Hope Monday has met you with sunshine, happy thoughts towards the week ahead and a good cup of coffee!

You have got to be kidding me!!! A TV in the shopping cart!?! What is this world coming to?
Santa is bringing us a Wii also. So far we've only played the game that comes in the Wii, but I look forward to renting some.
Hi my bloggy bud....We have those little tvs at our supermarket as well. I broke down one time several years ago and although She is too old to sit in those anymore she still has to ask when we visit!
Ive missed reading you...hopefully in the near future I will be back to my full time blog reading life~
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
Great thoughts!
I like the one how you will bake a punpkin pie and let your kids decide whether they like it. My daughter-in-law doesn't like salad dressing so she does not make anything with it in. But now my son makes potato salad and other salads so the kids do get the things they like. By the way, I love my daughter-in-law even though she doesn't like salad dressing. lol
Those carts are pretty impressive. You'll never find anything that technologically-advanced in my small town!
We're big Wii people. My son loves the Lego games right now!
