Cookie Dough For Sale

Now why do they do this to us?

Schools bribing our children into the idea-hope-wish-DREAM that they can win an I-Pod, Giant Rocket Launcher, Touch Screen MP4 Player....even up to $200 in CASH if they sell enough cookie dough for the school fundraiser.

Throw in the Hummer Limo Ride, Pizza Party & Laser Tag....what kid wouldn't want to go out door to door begging people they don't know to buy a 2 pound bucket of cookie dough for $15 stinkin' dollars! But seriously...who would buy this stuff?

The parents!

Hey, at least it's a good excuse to eat more cookies!

I can't say I miss that part of it! It does make good cookies though!
PS - love the way you coordinate the music with your posts!

The kids came RUNNING when they heard the music! Try explaining to them NO we can NOT buy his cookies, the shipping alone would bankrupt us.

I have definitely bought my share of cookie dough...and popcorn, and wrapping paper, and everything else my kids were selling.

LOVE the song! That is pretty expensive for cookies, isn't it, but I know where you are coming from. The kids' hockey teams raffle off 20.00 trip tickets and sell calendars for 10.00, which means we buy a lot of tickets and calendars! It is kinda aggravating.

The cookie dough is expensive but whenever the neighober kids come to sell something or anything I buy from them. I figure it goes to a good cause and it establishing a good feeling with the kids. It's worth it!!
