I had a feeling my body would give in. My immune system basically stinks and add in lack of sleep, eating junk for every meal, stress and a plane ride w/ re-circulated air....whala.
My head's pounding, throat's throbbing, ears ache, body aches....oh someone feel sorry for me!
I've basically walked into our beautiful rental home, crawled into bed and haven't left. It is absolutely ridiculous! VBS has started, here I lay. The gorgeous walls in this house are screaming to be painted (with permission) and I lay here dyin' that I can't lift a roller. The cupboards and fridge are bare and I desperately need to get groceries. The Comcast cable guy better not show up til this afternoon when Hubster's home or he'll get quite the surprise. And to make me whine even more...the moving truck will be here in a few days and I'd sure like to be ready.
One a more positive note, our boys seem completely content. A bit wild in fact. Last night there was a crazy game of flash light tag going on and I could hear the laughter. They've eached picked out their bedroom and have begun their lofty design ideas. My Hubster is smiling big and loves his new job. We live in a beautiful neighborhood in a rental home that is nicer than any home we've ever lived in. All thanks to a sweet lady who says the Lord told her to bless us with for an incredible price. God has protected, provided and blessed us beyond words the past few days & months. And we had a neighbor bring this by today:
I think I feel good enough to at least suck on one of these decadent nummies!
Life is good in Texas!

take 2 xtra tyenol and find a cafeteria for some veggies & salad!
I know exactly how you feel. Our last pastoral move, three years ago, I was just like that. Hubby is in a denomination now that 'places/appoints' pastors. Three years ago we found out around Memorial Day that we might be moving. A week later it was official. Then about 19 days after that the movers came. Stress big time. Two days after we moved, I wanted to just lay in bed. I had a fever, aches, chills, and no relief. We had a houseful of boxes and no rest for the weary! I even lost my voice.
I empathize totally!!!!
I am praying for you. ((((SOFT HUGS)))))
keep me posted.
I feel for you, I've been there! Take the time you need to recuperate so you don't push too hard and wind up out of the game longer.
If that's what the neighbors bring, I'M moving to Texas, lol!
Blessings,
Carolynn
You have been through a lot lately- very busy, not to mention all the emotion and stress involved in a move. Be nice to yourself and get better soon!

I'm so sorry you are sick! Traveling will do that to you. Dig into those yummy goodies - I'm sure they are FDA approved to heal you. :)
Call me nosy but I'd like to see the house! When you are feeling better of course.
I wish I could harness all this excitement and send it your way...

Wish I could bring you some homemade (or out of a can..shhh!) chicken noodle soup, and some fresh baked (or just picked up at the grocery store) bread! That would make you feel much better! Can't wait to see pictures of your new pad! Hope you feel better real soon!
I'm so sorry that you aren't feeling well. That is a terrible feeling.
Hope you wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and ready to get things in order around the house.
Hang in there.
