The waiting game

Thank you ALL for praying for my family and I these past few days.

My dad's surgery was scheduled for 2:30pm today. It's 5:45pm and he still hasn't gone in. They are "backed up" at this point and we are not sure if he'll go in soon and be in surgery late into the night or they'll just reschedule for the morning.

As you can imagine...it's torture for us all. We really just want this to be over with.

Thanks for remembering us today sweet friends. It means a lot!
Love ya,
Linda

**Umm, yea...so I'm an impatient person, just a little! Wouldn't you know once I posted this, he went right in! God, you are sooooo cool! Thank you.**

Bless your hearts, what a long and stressful day! Makes my encounter with dollhouse furniture and the toilet seem very unimportant! We will continue to pray for ya'll!

Remember there's no such thing as accidents in the Kingdom of Heaven! Isn't it stressful though, when His timing doesn't match up with ours? He's never late though. Curl up next to your dad and Our Father... "He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." (Psalm 91:4)

Much Love,
Carolynn

That made me think of Randy and Pam Terry singing "He's an On Time God." (I'm sure I just butchered the title of that song!) Remember that?

I'll be waiting to hear an update!

Whew. I was about to go into a huge rant about hospitals doing that when I clicked over (from Bloglines) to see the update.

Glad he's gone back. Keep us posted.

Loads of love and I hope you can somehow get some rest tonight.
