This month it has been SO good for me to really take to heart the things I am grateful for. One such blessing lately (well and always) is my hubster.
I have watched this man of mine grow into a completely different person than he was when I first met him. And I reeeeeeally like the new and improved Hubster. We say it over and over again "what in the world would we be like if we had never moved to Oklahoma". That's where I had the sweet gift of watching him blossom like a flower (a manly flower) as he spread his ministry wings and just FLEW.
We were off on an adventure on our own. 2 little cutie patootie baby boys, Him and I. That's it. Those years together were life-changing. No family around to run to. No influences from family on how we should raise our kids or be in our marriage. We were it. And it was the best thing that could have ever happened.
Since moving back to Oregon in '06, I have watched my hubster transition into a whole 'nother season of life. He has faced some of the biggest mountains of his life and walked thru the deepest valleys in the past 2 years. And I've walked here beside him and cannot believe the man of God this husband of mine has become! I am more in awe of what God has done in his life than ever before.
Although life isn't always a bowl of Cap 'N Crunch ("bed of roses" doesn't sound manly enough)....I know without a doubt that the Lord is teaching my man how to rely on Him and lead our family. Can I just shout it out how much I LOVE MY HUSBAND?
So honey, I'm here in your corner cheerleading my little heart out. You are more of the man I ever though God would bless me with. I look forward to whatever mountains, valleys, or rollercoasters that God may have in store. And through all those, I know God always has His best in mind for you...and me!

I love you honey.

Aw, that's awesome! I'm so happy for you, your man and your boys! I'm also thrilled so many of us have been posting about our men. Just the other day www.missemilylynnspeaks.blogspot.com posted a great shout out to her man on his b-day. I posted my concern for my man while trucking in winter weather and now today you've posted an awesome tribute to your man! I LOVE IT! We are certainly blessed women!
ohhhhh, GREAT pictures! I had fun talking to "your man" while I was "manning" the Giving Tree yesterday - what a special tribute!
You lucky woman. I love the part how you said there was noone around to tell you how to raise your family, that is how it should BE. How wonderful that you two had each other and used it, now look at you! Foundation laid, strong and firm. Love it, it's like a reality fairytale. And All I can say is AWE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a beautiful post - and Testimony!!
Blessings, Whitney
Awww so very sweet - a precious post and pictures! I didn't know you lived in Oregon...I'm your neighbor in WA.
So sweet!
BTW, Superdog met my BFF's labordoodle for the first time yesterday with the Christmas pics...she was TERRIFIED, even though Dixie (the labordoodle) is the sweetest dog ever. Poor thing -- and then she had to wear the Santa hat, too, lol!!
You're playing an all time favourite song of mine- it always makes me tear up. Great post from a great wife with a great hubby!
Thanks for such an uplifting post and a great tribute to your man!
