WallyWorld

Walmart.

I go there way more times a week than I should.

It depresses me to go there.

The cashier at the Customer Service desk had tape holding one side of the frame on her glasses together.

The other side was wrapped with tinfoil. No joke.

So, when I came across this hilarious tidbit. I felt compelled to share it!

"20 Things to do when you are bored at Walmart"
....here's a few of my favorite:
  • Ask to put a pack of gum on layaway.
  • Put antifreeze in the freezer.
  • Hide in the racks of clothing and grab people's ankles as they walk by.
  • Go into the fitting rooms and 5 min. later shout, "There isn't any tp in here!!!"
  • Ride a display bike through the store and claim you're taking it for a test drive.
  • Frozen pizza frisbee
  • Start a game of hide and seek and see how many people you can get to join in.
  • Hog the video game demos.
  • While looking at weapons in the hunting department, ask where the antidepresents are.
  • Superglue items to the floor.
  • Hide behind items on the shelves, and when people grab them yell, "BOO!!!"

Although I would NEVER do any of these. Can you just imagine my kid's response if I did?!

It'd be a great way to get revenge on the sreaming/kicking/"I hate my mama" tantrums they did as littles!

But I love them too much to do that.

Even if I may or may not have done#3 as a kid!

I just read a similar forwarded email. But in this one the store is asking a gentleman not to return because he had, over several months, been caught:
*asking to put a bag of m&ms on layaway (where I live they no longer have that option they want you to buy gift cards instead)
*yelling "Pick me! pick me!" from the clothes rack

How funny to have read two similar things, but it was a fun way to start the day. :)

To funny! A few years ago, during a rainy camping trip with my parents, my brother and his wife and my family, we went to Wal’mart for something to do. We spent WAY too much time there and we getting into mischief. We ended up in the aisle with the bikes and my mother (someone who should not be encouraging her adult children to “misbehave” in public), challenged my brother ride a bike. Well he did and within seconds this announcement came over the PA system: “Shoppers. For your safety and others we ask that you not ride the bikes in the store. Please ask for assistance. Thank you.” Opps :-/ but we had a good laugh, Come to think if it, I don’t think any of us bought anything that night.

I’d like to try the dressing room one!!

That's a funny list. I have been known to sing out loud in a store aisle to embarrass my kids. I figure it's payback!

Oh my! Those kids are soooo cute. Where was I? Oh yeah, WAR-mart. The lady had tape and foil on her glasses. That's very green of her. No metals and plastics added to the trash heap. Nope, just craft 'em back to reuseful with a little tape and a wad of foil.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm still laughing at my Denny's incident (when I'm not gagging). Btw, your Ani looks sooo much like a guy I went to highschool with. Both boys are HANDSOME young men.
Blessings,
~Toni~

LOL, before I retired from my Hallmark job, I was working in a WM three or four days a week. Needless to say, I only go now when it's absolutely necessary!

It's too many trips to Target for me, but I think this list could work there, too ;-)
