I have never been much of a vitamin popper. When I was prego it was all I could do to keep up on the prenatal pills and calcium. Of course my doctor talks about osteoporosis on my visits and always makes me feel guilty for not taking my calcium (and for slouching). When I get a cold I would struggle with taking medicine. At least when I was younger. Now one sniff and I'm tearing open the box of tylenol cold and cough.
Perhaps it is the reverse affect some medicines have on me. You know, like when it says "causes drowsiness" can be translated in this ol' body as:
**will make you stay awake for hours on end and
curse the bottle which you took me from!**
that has made me leery.Awhile back my sister mentioned taking fish oil. I had tried it once. It grossed me out. I would *burp* it up throughout the day and the taste made me want to barf. (how's this meaningful post going so far?) But as you get older, you get wiser...at least that's what I hear is suppose to happen. So I tried it again.
"Fish oil saved my marriage." Naa, just kidding. My marriage is all good. Well except for when my breath smells like fish oil. Now who would wanna kiss that?!
But in reality it has made a huge difference in my life. Perhaps it is just looking at the label on the bottle that says "Omega 3 MOOD". Any woman with crazy hormones and wild mood fluctuations should be drawn to such a bottle (or at least her husband's attention!). Along with a vitamin B complex each morning....my life is now changed forever. If only I could get these puppies down easier. They are the size of a small grenade and just the thought of one breaking and oozing all over makes me grossed out. Although, if it has made my moods so great....possibly opening one up and rubbing it on my thighs just might do the trick for some miracle weight loss.
Ya never know!
(This is not my hand in the photo, so all fortune tellers/palm readers be informed! Unless the reading says that you will live a long life by taking fish oil! HARDY HAR HAR)So, on that note. Have a great monday. And "take your vitamins"!

That does it. You know I believe everything you post so I'm going to the store right now to get some for D, I mean me.
Linda,
I'm a vitamin nut... Loved this! I take fish oil too. And about a gazillion other things...LOL.
Have I mentioned how cheery your blog is? Your new picture is great too!
Do they really work??? I may need to look into them!!!! Especially this week!!
I've never tried Fish Oil, but I'm a big fan of the B-Complex vitamin. It does wonders for me! I hope you are doing well...sorry I haven't been around more often!
hmm....fish oil and Vit B complex huh. I've thought about taking fish oil and this might be just the motivation I needed to start! I'll let you know.
oh yuck! Fish oil! I don't think I could ever take it. I can't swallow pills as it is, much less one that has fish oil in it! ick
OK, I will! I'll bet your phone is ringing off the hook from the vitamin industry - that was the best infomercial I have ever seen! I have fish oil in my cabinet - being a cardiac nurse - that I'm hoping is benefitting me just by being in my house! haha
