Kids, Kids, Kids

I absolutely LOVE it that God has called us into the Kids Ministry. Seriously, what a fun "job". We are going on 16 years in ministry together. It is just as much a blessing today as it was when we started! Sunday was our Kids' Choir musical. Parts of it were in 3-D. COOL meal deal!!! My friend Tamera had a main part and she did awesome. Man that girl can sing! As you notice there are 2 certain little boys who were NOT on stage:

Not a great example as leaders to have our kids in the balcony and not on stage. But, they've done their "time" in musicals over the years. And honestly they do not care for it. So, we relented this year. It was nice having them in the seats next to us. Although *sigh* how I remember the days they were itty bitty and melted my heart like these cuties below!:

Monday night was the "Wax Museum" for D-Man's school. Each kiddo in his LC (Learning Center) which consists of 100 munchkins...took on the part of a famous person. They did a report, poster board and even had a lil' speech prepared when you went up to their booth. It was hilarious, adorable, informative and fun. I will say though, as far as the costumes go, I think some of the parents put in just as much work as the kids!

Can you spot; Houdini, Louis Armstrong, Belle Boyd, Coco Chanel, Anne Frank, Daniel Boone, General Paxton, Mother Theresa, Gaundi, Michael Jackson, Mozart, Leonardo De Vinci, John Lennon, Abraham Lincoln & Lucille Ball? Those were some of my favorites. But of course the best one of all....

C.S. Lewis!

What a great idea! Actually, they are both great, the 3-D kids musical--my kids would LOVE that! and the wax museum, I have never seen that. And what a great choice, I love C.S. Lewis!

Wow, sounds like quite the musical! I love the CS Lewis idea- did he come up with that. They are in public school, aren't they? Was he able to share about Lewis's faith?
