What Wednesday: March 17th

I'm still trying to come up with a cute name for this. I love getting to know more about you each week!

1. What has made you smile the BIGGEST lately?

2. When were you allowed to start wearing makeup?

3. If you could live anywhere else in the USA (than you do now)...where and why?

4. Are you picky about blogging grammar and spelling on other people's blogs?

5. Which of the *Fruit of the Spirit* describes you? Don't be shy on this one either!
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness or Self-control

Bonus question: While sitting in a movie theater...which arm rest do you claim as yours?

On Sunday, my SIL was in town. That always makes me smile.

I was 11 or 12 when I was allowed to wear make up. My kids will be 25.

I'd live in the smallest podunk town possible. Where there are no strangers, stop-lights, or ATM's.

Honestly, I don't think I'm picky about grammar or spelling. I definitely notice it but to each their own!

Oh man, which FRUIT?! Looking at them right now, I'd say I'm none and that makes me sad. Maybe Kindness. I think I'm kind. Buck stops there.

I claim the right armrest.

Good questions, the Fruit of the Spirit one really has me thinking. I need to be more of these. All of these!

1. My son jumped up and started doing a strange dance last night, it made me smile and laugh!

2. I can't remember when I was allowed to wear makeup. I've never been one to wear makeup often but probably around 12 or 13.

3. I don't live in the USA now, I'm in Canada but I'd move to somewhere that has a very limited winter! Somewhere warm!

4. I'm not too picky about grammar and spelling on other blogs. I like to spell correctly on mine but grammar has never been an issue!

5. Hmm, tough one. I think Gentleness and kindness would be my fruit of the spirit. Definitely not patience and self-control!

Bonus: I'm not sure, I'll just see which arm rest is not being used beside me and use that one. I prefer to use both!

3) I love North Carolina, beautiful scenery, beautiful weather - lots less snow!
4) I notice spelling errors but wouldn't say I am picky about it
5)I think joy and kindness
Bonus - I claim the right armrest!

1. i LOVE watching Owen play, espcially outside with the weather getting nicer, he has a hop to his step these days!
2.i think i was in 7th grade...tried mascara first. GADS! it looked awful!
3. probably southern Ca. that's where the rest of my family lives, but i would hate to miss the change of seasons.
4. i am pretty picky about grammar and spelling on my own blog, but don't mind it on others. i'm a spelling geek..i love to challenge myself with new words.
5.self-control is the hardest for me, espcially when it comes to sweets. the one that BEST describes me, hmmmmm...i'd have to say kindness.

i pick the right arm rest...is that cause i'm right handed? that's an interesting question, i have never really thought about it til now! all of your questions are clever!

Ok...I like getting to answer specific questions in a comment rather than trying to think of something to say....

1. I smiled watching my boys hold hands walking towards our apt. building.

2. I started wearing make up in highschool...but I don't ever remember having rules against wearing it any earlier though...

3. Well, if and when we get back to the States, I would love to live in Western Michigan/Grand Rapids area...I just love it there and there's a Christian bookstore on nearly every corner.

4. No, but I cringe at the thought of what some might be saying about my blog's grammar...

5. I think joy or goodness would be the first to describe me...

BONUS: I claim both and get really annoyed if my husband tries to put his elbow on the one between us...

5. Peace baby
6. both of them

#1 Seeing my son playing with his pup makes me smile every day.

#2 There was no set age but I didn't really wear it until I was 14.

#3 Georgia or TN - I have lived in both places and love the views. But I prefer living near the ocean, which I do now.

#4 I grade papers every day so I notice it but unless there are a lot of errors, it doesn't bother me. I catch errors on my own blog from time to time. I always notice when "a lot" is spelled "alot." That kind of bugs me. But not a lot!

#5 I am patient.

Bonus - I don't enjoy being in a theater. I feel trapped so I wait til the movie I want to see is available for rent.

Melanie said...

#1 above - "pup" is how I refer to our family dog!!!
Re-read that and didn't want it misconstrued. ;)

2. When were you allowed to start wearing makeup? around 13

3. If you could live anywhere else in the USA (than you do now)...where and why? thats tough since i dont know what it would be like anywhere else

4. Are you picky about blogging grammar and spelling on other people's blogs? it does bother me when something is wrong, yea.

5. Which of the *Fruit of the Spirit* describes you? Don't be shy on this one either!

Bonus question: While sitting in a movie theater...which arm rest do you claim as yours? a little of both

1. Brayden getting his braces off yesterday....
2. 7th Grade - when we were allowed to shave and wear make-up
3. I'd stay in Oregon....Sunriver
4. I notice the grammar and spelling in blogs, but am not a stickler about it on my own blog or others..
5. Love - (always demonstrating it though.....hmmm, different story)
6. The right armrest, but John is a lefty - and so we fight over it if he sits to my right..... =)

I think you should call it What say you Weds. Cause you always ask us questions which I find fun to answer AND fun to read what the others wrote...you have more traffic then me so I hope you don't mind me reading comments left for you. :)
#1 My Son. He says and does things that are so stinkin' cute. Maybe it's his age. He is the goof ball of our family. And not to leave Butter out I smile when she "does her hair."
#2 Make-up wasn't a big thing, pageants remember. So 5 competeing and 11 to school.
#3 Where would I live. Eugene, OR!!! Cause that is where you are!
or I'd go back to New England That was a good place. I've never been in the middle of our country so I pick there. (some where where the winters aren't so long.
#4 Um, me and grammer have this thing where we don't get in each other's way...same with spelling.
#5 LOL, are you calling me fruity?
I'd say self-control, because the Lord knows my mouth could go OFF on certain people and lately I'll I've been doing is keeping it quiet and holding that tongue. That totally surprises me too! and Goodness. I really really want to be GOOD. Good to others, good at taking care of my responsibilties, good at spending time with God, making GOOD healthy meals.
#6 the *bonus* ? I claim both. I normally sit to the left of Hubby and he trys to keep the armrest up, where am I to put my drink? I'm right handed? He's a lefty. It's a nightmare. I also have issues with purse holding with him. Again I carry the purse in my left hand or shoulder he ALWAYS trys to hold the left hand knocking my purse around, that drives me nuts too, you'd think after 8 years he'd learn you HOLD the right hand except at dinner or the movies! sheesh, I guess that needed therapy huh?

Linda, I love your questions! How do you think of these??

1. Savannah's silly questions and her laugh.

2. Hmmm...I think around 12 or 13.

3. North Carolina. Because it is beautiful, southern, and close to the beach! My other choice would probably be the Seattle area.

4. Oooh, a little. It doesn't stop me from reading, but I mentally proofread as I go. Terrible, huh? And then I just DIE when I find a mistake in one of my old posts that I didn't catch in time. :)

5. I think patience? That's tough - I sure don't have any of these down 100%!

6. I have no idea - I can't even picture how I do it in my head right now. Shows how seldom we get to the theater, right?
